Did You Know….

I want people to enjoy my work (of course I do!) but I also want to help nature, and people. I believe that when people become interested in nature they are more likely to take care of it. I also believe that nature can help people feel better. We all know the benefits of being able to get outside for a nice walk, or sit in the garden and listen to birdsong. So the benefit is mutual!

Bringing People and Nature Together

I create my posters with this idea in mind. I hope that when people see my artworks they become interested in their natural subjects and are inspired to get outside and try to find these wonders for themselves! I try to choose subjects that the majority of people will have access to. Our most common wildlife is still beautiful and fascinating! Have you ever stopped to watch bees working on pollen rich flowers? Next time (perhaps when it’s a little warmer) have a look to see how many different species of bee are working the same plants, you’ll bee (pun definitely intended) surprised!

I’m hoping to get into the swing of blogging this year, to keep you up to date with everything going on in my world. I’ve got a few things in the pipeline for this year, and I am looking forward to sharing that with you!
