This attractive and interesting tea towel shows illustrations of some common and some rarer species of bees that can be found in Britain.

This tea towel design is based on the ‘Types of Bee’ poster. It features ink and watercolour illustrations of 15 different species of bee that can be found in Britain. The design includes the ‘Big 7’ bumblebees: the Buff-tailed; the White-tailed; the Red-tailed; the Early bumblebee; the Garden bumblebee; the Tree bumblebee and the Common Carder bee as well as the honeybee and several solitary bees on a tea towel of approximately 68cm x 46cm size. The high quality print captures the detail and vibrancy of the original paintings making this tea towel both pretty and practical! These tea towels make lovely gifts for budding naturalists, gardeners, wildlife enthusiasts etc and can brighten up a kitchen admirably.

They are made from 100% cotton cloth which is woven from ethically sourced yarns. They have been digitally printed using water-based, non-toxic inks right here in Cornwall! They have care labels sewn in. They are machine washable. Please cool wash separately before use.

Each tea towel is neatly folded and fastened with a kraft bellyband. Orders are wrapped in tissue paper fixed with a Rachel Corney Illustration sticker. Each order is packed with a message of thanks along with a business card. To cut down on use of plastics, the tea towels are shipped in sturdy paper-padded bags which are biodegradable, as is the paper tape which is used.
